The Tower School Basketball Team

Two great games of Basketball were played on Wednesday 12th February. Tower School Squad-Team (Golden Tower) coached by PE Teacher Jake Dyer, played a Basketball match against a Riverside school team and were losing by 1 point for most of the game. They made a remarkable comeback to win 3 – 1. One pupil excelled by scoring all the hoops. A proud day for our team as we were the underdogs. Pupils were solid in their defensive work, creating good scoring opportunities and working hard. Well done to the entire team. #TowerPower!!!

Tower School Squad-Team (Chicago Tower) coached by PE Teacher Jake Dyer, played a tough game against Riverside and were highly unlucky to lose 2-1. A hard fought and great basketball game against a good side. The entire team played brilliantly. Pupils would get the crowd going whenever they had the basketball and looked likely to score. Pupils worked hard chasing back and pushing forwards. They showed solid defence and the entire squad did the school proud. Well done!!!!
