The Tower School has been renovated to a high standard to a high standard to house our classrooms and meet the needs of the young people.
We have several dedicated specialist classrooms for English, Maths, Science, Computing, Art, Music and Food Technology. The school also benefits from a school hall, therapy rooms, a library and a safe outside sensory space.
The location of the school lends itself well to easily access outside learning through other facilities within our community as well as acres of Epping Forest with its play areas and substantial woodlands. For example, we use the local Sports Centre for our PE lessons, and take the opportunity to explore Epping Forest through our Outdoor Education and Duke of Edinburgh curriculum.
We also have an an on-site clinical team, listed below, who are able to support our pupils through one-to-one sessions, group sessions and staff training. We also have an Inclusion team who work directly with our young people, their families and their carers, as well as supporting with transition and attendance. Our team work with our pupils to develop strategies to overcome any anxieties, fears and barriers they may have so that they can access the full range of academic and social learning opportunities available on site.
Our onsite clinical team includes:
- A Speech & Language Therapist
- An Occupational Therapy
- A Psychotherapist
- A Therapy Assistant
- (There is also access to a range of other clinicians and therapists from external agencies and our regional clinical hub)
Please note, the virtual tour for this school was filmed at a point in time, therefore the layout, classroom details and other areas may have changed.
