Preparation for adulthood – Spire Community Trip

Spire experienced their first trip into the community last week. They accessed Epping train station using their tickets and the map to navigate to the station. The pupils also needed help with their tickets, and they had to call for assistance. They read the road signs to navigate the shopping centre and they chose to visit a big toy store with games, where they spent some time as a group. Spire enjoyed a snack from Greggs and were encouraged to choose and pay independently. The pupils all sat together which meant they had many positive interactions. Spire then travelled back to school, following the signs of the road and reading the map to find the correct platform. Next Friday, Spire will be travelling to Stratford!
