This week in English

Lantern engaged very positively during their Speaking and Listening lesson this week. Lantern enjoyed an interactive bus journey in the Immersive room; they especially enjoyed the bus bell at the different stops!

This week during English, Victoria and Vicky from our Clinical team visited our class so that we could collaboratively teach Turret and Pagoda. They brought in an experiment for the pupils to engage with; they listened well to the instructions and focused on making patterns with their skittles. They enjoyed observing the rainbow that was created by the pattern they made. We tried to use words such as ‘swirling’, ‘flowing’, ‘combining’ and ‘mingling’ to describe the colours merging together. The pupils then drew the before and after version of the skittles in the hot water. Well done! Thank you to the Clinical team for coming to our class and delivering an exciting and engaging lesson with us.
