PFA Trip to the Twist Museum

As part of our Preparation for Adulthood, pupils from Martello and Obelisk visited the Twist Museum on Oxford Street last week. For many of our pupils, this trip was an invaluable opportunity to continue to build on essential life skills, including safe travel training. The journey provided a practical chance to practice navigating public transport, boosting confidence in independent travel.

At the museum, the ‘The Way I See Things’ theme sparked thoughtful reflections on how each of us perceives the world in our own unique way. The exhibits prompted engaging discussions about personal perspectives, and the museum’s interactive approach offered a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the optical illusions and extraordinary displays, and the pupils were particularly captivated by the hands-on nature of the exhibits!
