Gothic Fiction with Turret

Turret have been on an English trip to The Old Operating Theatre in London, to support their learning on Gothic fiction. They chose artifacts to include in their next gothic story which they wrote this week, and explored the museum with interest.

The pupils most enjoyed climbing the tiny steep wooden staircase to reach the operating theatre and even attended a lecture on what procedures used to happen there. They made their own ‘medicine bags’, with herbs that they ground up themselves.
