Home Events & Celebrations PFA’s Escape Room Challenge
Last Friday, pupils took part in our final Preparation for Adulthood trip of the Autumn Term with an exciting visit to the Escape Rooms in Harlow. This experience provided a great opportunity for pupils to apply key life skills in a high-pressure timed environment.
Pupils worked incredibly well throughout the challenge, demonstrating excellent teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills. They supported and guided one another with maturity and focus, showing resilience and determination as they worked against the clock.
Obelisk form entered an ‘Egyptian tomb’, tasked with solving the mystery of a missing explorer and locating a lost necklace, while Martello form took on a thrilling supernatural experience to solve a conspiracy case. Both groups fully immersed themselves in their challenges and worked collaboratively to navigate clues and solve puzzles.
In an exciting finish, Obelisk form managed to escape first, beating Martello by an impressive four seconds! All pupils should be extremely proud of their efforts and the way they represented our school.
This trip was memorable way to end Autumn term’s Preparation for Adulthood lessons and we look forward to sharing more in 2026!
