Autumn’s Jack Petchey Award Winners

We are so very proud to announce our Autumn Term winners of the Jack Petchey Award. This is an award that recognises the outstanding achievements of pupils across London and Essex, awarding them for their hard work and their positive impact in school.

We are delighted to announce that Mia from Lantern and Zac from Citadel are our Autumn Term winners! The below testimonials are a credit to them:

Mia has truly shone since joining Lantern class! Her cheerful nature and friendly smile make everyone feel welcome—whether it’s a new pupil or a visiting grown-up. She’s a ray of sunshine in our classroom! Recently, Mia has amazed us with her growing confidence, especially when using the telephone. She now answers calls and takes messages with such professionalism and maturity, you’d think she was running the school office. We’re so proud of how far she’s come – keep up the fantastic work, Mia!

Zac is an exceptional young person who gives 100% in everything he does. He’s kind, respectful, and a brilliant role model to his peers. Over the past year, Zac has grown in confidence—forming new friendships, engaging in conversations, and even stepping out of his comfort zone on school trips. His academic progress is outstanding, and he tackles every subject with determination and humility. Whether in class or on the football pitch, Zac shows maturity, resilience, and a positive attitude. We’re so proud of him and he truly deserves this award.

Mia and Zac have won £300 each to spend towards the school, furthering their positive impact. We shall look forward to formally acknowledging this at the award ceremony in September 2026, alongside our future Spring and Summer Term winners.

Many congratulations again!
