Daily Mile

On Friday 3rd May, The Tower School ventured out to the local area for the first of our daily mile walks! This year, the Universities of Stirling, Edinburgh and Highlands & Islands found that 15 minutes of self-paced exercise is beneficial for young people, supporting their cognition and wellbeing. We had an amazing 16 students join us on the inaugural walk, even though the weather was wet and dull. We hope to be able to offer an opportunity to complete this each morning and enjoy some morning air before the learning starts for the day.
