A pupil of The Tower School has their art work displayed at the Chelmsford Art Festival

Staff attended the Chelmsford Art Festival on Saturday to show support for one of our pupils and celebrate their accomplishment of having their work displayed at this amazing event. She not only displayed her talents for all to see but created a piece of artwork that the audience could interact with by adding their own colours to the canvas. She created a piece called ‘Disco City’, a fusion of Disney and cartoon characters that are intertwined with her own illustrations, an array of buildings that carry the momentum through to each piece of work and unlocking a new location deep within. When all the Disco City pieces are put together, it creates a map of a platforming world.

When it started at 10.00am the canvas was empty, poised and waiting to be coloured in, by the time it finished at 4.00pm the canvas was awash with colour. The Tower School are all extremely proud of this young persons for sharing her talent with the community of Chelmsford.
