This week in English

This week, Turret have been learning about ‘Jason and the Argonauts’. We watched a short clip then read an extract from the story. The pupils looked at some images and wrote a sentence underneath each one to describe what they could see or to summarise the story. Previously, we read ‘Pandora’s Box’ and the learners filled in the gaps using a vocabulary bank. Fantastic work!

This week, Lattice, Turret, Pagoda and Citadel have engaged in collaborative discussion and the different types of skills that contribute toward speaking, listening and communicating. Our pupils are engaging with their new Speaking and Listening lessons really positively, and are especially enjoying the role play aspects where they have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning!
