This week in Mathematics

The Tower School amazing mathematicians have been introduced to this year’s academic curriculum which now includes a variety of planned problem-solving ideas and events. Key Stage 4 and 5 pupils have been introduced to their curriculum maps, which are now accessible in their workbooks. This enables each pupil to easily highlight and tick off the topics as we learn about them. Key Stage 4 and 5 pupils have also had the opportunity to access our new BKSB learning platform, which means they can consistently access their Maths (and English) curriculum both at school and at home. As teachers, the programme allows us to accurately identify our pupils’ strengths and areas of development, enabling us to further refine the personalisation of our teaching and learning approach. Our Key Stage 3 mathematicians have enjoyed building/refining strong working relationships with their new and existing pupils through the introduction of interactive mathematical games to engage our young pupils in a different way.
