This week in Preparation for Adulthood

Martello pupils travelled to Central London to visit the Barbican Centre. Pupils received minimal support for travelling and handled the tube delays very well; they practiced alternative ways to travel due to delays and red signals, using a tube map and navigation apps.

Spire pupils travelled to the Royal Docks to use the IFS Cable Car. The pupils adhered to the planned journey, following the signs and using tube and DLR lines. They navigated themselves to the cable car and independently purchased snacks. The pupils boarded and enjoyed the view, crossing the Thames and arriving at the O2; they followed a different journey to school from North Greenwich, following the tube signs.
