Steeple’s End of Year Trip

What a day to remember for Steeple this week, on their end of year trip to Rye House Go-karting. Steeple form were driven to the track by our Formula 1 resident Evie, arriving safely and just in time. They had a brief safety meeting and then got kitted up….crash helmet, balaclavas, onesies and gloves (and of course a few obligatory photos were taken pre-driving!).

Despite the fact it was 28 degrees outside and our Tower pupils had to wear more clothes, nothing could stop them from taking to the track! Mrs. Szabo was offered the first cart, no.4, and the pupils trailed behind… but… not for long! She was quickly overtaken by Isla in kart no. 13! She had a hard time trying to pass Lexi, but eventually made speed and came second fastest. According to the data, Libby came first – she made excellent time in only 11 laps. Well done to all participants!

After, Steeple sat together and had a lovely lunch with staff before making their way back to school. The day ended far too quickly – pupils are already looking forward to enjoying their next Tower experience!
