10th July 2025

Euro Disney 2025

On Monday 20th June, excitement filled the air as a group of seven enthusiastic pupils and five dedicated staff members set off on The Tower School’s very first overseas adventure – a magical trip to Disneyland Paris!

This incredible journey marked a huge milestone for many of our pupils, with some experiencing travel abroad and time away from their families for the very first time. From the moment we boarded the coach to the final wave goodbye, it was a trip packed with unforgettable moments, laughter, and lifelong memories.

It was more than just a holiday – it was a chance for our pupils to grow in independence, build stronger friendships, and explore a world beyond the classroom.

On Monday morning, the excitement was undeniable as we gathered at school, ready to begin our magical journey.

At 9:30am, with beaming smiles and waves from proud parents, carers, and staff, our group boarded what can only be described as the ultimate mode of transport – a party bus! Spirits were high, music was playing, and the adventure had officially begun.

Our journey took us straight to St. Pancras International, where the pupils showed fantastic maturity and patience as they navigated airport-style security and passport control. For many, this was their first time experiencing international travel procedures – and they handled it brilliantly. Once through to the departures lounge, the excitement started to build even more as we prepared to board the Eurostar.

The train journey to France went off without a hitch, and before we knew it, we were in Paris and boarding our coach to the hotel. On arrival, everyone took some time to relax, unpack, and soak in the fact that we were finally here!

Our evening was just as exciting. After a tasty dinner at the hotel restaurant, we headed out to explore the grounds and stumbled across a little farm. Pupils had the chance to meet friendly donkeys, fluffy alpacas, and curious goats. It was a peaceful highlight that had everyone smiling.

To end our first day, we took a gentle walk around a picturesque lake nearby – the perfect way to wind down. But the fun didn’t stop there! Before heading to bed, we explored the hotel’s gift shop and arcade, where pupils enjoyed a bit of free time and picked up some fun souvenirs.

It was a day full of firsts, laughter, and wonder – the perfect start to what would be a truly unforgettable trip!

The day we had all been waiting for had finally arrived – our adventure to the most magical place on Earth: Disneyland Paris! We woke up early and headed down to the hotel breakfast. With an unlimited buffet of delicious options, everyone filled their plates (and then some!) to fuel up for the incredible day ahead.

Ready to go, we grabbed our bags and hopped on the shuttle bus bound for Disneyland.

Upon arrival at the park, we collected our very special access passes. These golden tickets not only let us skip the long queues, but also gave us entry to an exclusive viewing area for the fireworks spectacular later that night – a real VIP experience!

We then split into two groups and set off to explore the magic. From the fairy-tale charm of Disneyland Park to the movie magic of Walt Disney Studios, every moment was packed with adventure. Pupils raced through rides, browsed the many colourful shops, and even got creative – Leo and Alfie proudly built their very own lightsabres at the Star Wars experience!

After hours of fun and Disney magic, we all regrouped for a well-earned feast at Billy Bob’s Tex-Mex Buffet. The food was a hit – think sizzling fajitas, plates of pasta, and an endless selection of desserts that had everyone going back for seconds.

As the sun set, the excitement rose once again – it was time for the fireworks show. At exactly 10:40pm, we gathered in our special viewing area right in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. What followed was pure magic: a breath-taking display of fireworks, video projections, music, and even drones lighting up the night sky.

Tired but absolutely buzzing with happiness, we made our way back to the hotel and, after such an unforgettable day, we all drifted off to sleep.

And just like that… our final day had arrived!

We started the morning with one last breakfast at the hotel, enjoying a relaxed meal together and chatting about our favourite memories from the trip. After breakfast, it was time to pack up our rooms, check out, and get ready for our last few hours of Disney magic. We left our luggage safely at the hotel and hopped back on the shuttle bus for one more visit to Disneyland!

With the clock ticking, we made the most of every minute. Pupils explored the shops, picking out souvenirs for family and friends – and, of course, a few special treats for themselves! We managed to squeeze in a few more rides and photo ops, soaking up the atmosphere and taking in the sights of the park one last time.

After a fantastic final few hours, it was time to head back to the hotel for lunch and to collect our bags. With full hearts and arms full of Disney merchandise, we began our journey home.

The return trip had its challenges – a long day of travel with changes and queues – but our pupils handled it all with maturity, patience, and resilience. Whether it was managing bags, keeping spirits high, or supporting one another through the tired moments, they truly made us proud. At last, we arrived back at The Tower School, where parents were waiting with smiles and hugs. It was an emotional and joyful reunion, with everyone ready to head home for some well-deserved rest.
