Our KS5 English Option pupils have been busy developing their creative writing skills, with a focus on crafting either a narrative or a descriptive piece. As part of their learning journey, they’ve explored the use of vivid adjectives and sensory language to bring their writing to life.

A key part of the unit involved understanding and applying the narrative arc—learning how to effectively structure a story by exploring each stage of the arc and its purpose in storytelling.
