🐴 Horse Riding at Chigwell Riding Trust

We are thrilled to share that some of our pupils have been taking part in weekly horse riding sessions at Chigwell Riding Trust — the UK’s first ever riding centre for people with special needs. Established over 60 years ago, the Trust continues to offer a calm, welcoming environment where pupils feel instantly at ease.

Horse riding provides so many benefits, from emotional regulation and sensory stimulation to the development of motor skills, social interaction, and cognitive engagement.

It’s been a joy to see our pupils grow in confidence, develop their riding skills, and form special bonds with their new (furry) friends. These sessions not only support physical and emotional development, but also bring a real sense of achievement and happiness.
