A Great Week of Problem Solving

Turret and Lighthouse have taken their problem solving to another level this week. Learning new games has been a highlight, reinforcing skills and social interaction with peers. We know problem solving is crucial in Mathematics education because it transcends Maths; by developing problem-solving skills, we learn not only how to tackle Math problems, but also how to logically work our way through any problems we may face.

Our pupils have the opportunity to foster independence, confidence, and emotional regulation, while also improving executive functions like flexible thinking, attention, and planning.
