Remembrance Day

On Tuesday this week, The Tower School joined the nation in paying our respects for Remembrance Day, commemorating this through themed lessons and related activities, such as exploring war poetry in English.

Across the school we honoured the two minute silence at 11am. It was with pride we heard of Lantern Class being so respectful and reflective during this, following their learning about the impact on children evacuees in World War II.

There was also a nationwide assembly delivered by The Royal British Legion and The National Literacy Trust, which many pupils tuned in for.
