Orienteering with DofE

This week in their Duke of Edinburgh studies, pupils were taught how to use a compass and then used them to venture out into Epping and create their own route.

They had to stop at each turn and decide what direction they were going in, noting down how many steps it took.

It was freezing! But they persevered and created a great route through Epping. Amazing work!
