Maths Problem Solving Games

Last week, the pupils were introduced to a range of Maths Problem Solving games. These games are fantastic for developing memory, accuracy and cognitive skills in an enjoyable way.

Some pupils played ‘Taco, Goat, Cat, Cheese, Pizza’, which is a game that promotes quick-decision making and adaptability. It was amazing to see the mixture of roars of laughter along with silent focus and concentration!

Pupils in Key stage 4 & 5 really enjoyed ‘Yahtzee’, which is a game of chance that develops strategic thinking. It was great to see the staff fully immersing themselves in the games with the pupils, which really encouraged healthy competition and challenge!

Lastly, congratulations to Turret…you survived the ‘SURVIVAL’ game! You proved you could work together as a team to solve all the problems you faced on the Island. It was great to see how well you tackled the problems to find food and shelter. Amazing teamwork!

Well done to all players; this was such valuable social and learning time.
