Martello explored UK public spending for the 2024 financial year. We discussed which areas of spending we felt were the most and least important, sharing and justifying our opinions thoughtfully. Pupils then planned a persuasive speech to the Chancellor, using AFOREST techniques to strengthen their arguments. It was fantastic to see such confident reasoning and lively discussion, well done to everyone for their excellent engagement!
