This week in Maths

A New Challenge!

In problem-solving this week, Citadel and Lattice were challenged to build the tallest tower using spaghetti and marshmallows. Some great teamwork was observed, as well as creative thinking in their designs.

Pupils at the Tower have been solving some very tricky problems in their problem- solving lessons. Congratulations to one of our pupils in Spire for managing to build a tower with balloons using only four pieces of tape. Thank you to Archie for supporting him!

Well done to pupils in Citadel for using spaghetti and marshmallows to build some interesting models in their problem-solving lesson with Michele.

A big shout-out to students in the Nurture group for their fantastic work on fractions last week. Mrs. Szabo (Maths lead) was delighted to spend the afternoon with them. Thank you to one pupil for organising a Kahoot fun football quiz—the Tower Team came first! Of course!

Happy faces, happy students, building skills and confidence in our lessons—this makes our day great and our future look even better!
