World Book Day

On Thursday 6th March , we celebrated World Book Day. Pupils had the opportunity to visit the local library in Epping and to explore the shelves, discover new books, and borrow stories to enjoy at home. It was great to see their excitement for reading grow!

A big thank you to the staff at the library for having us and helping to direct us towards some books to borrow. If your pupils are interested in joining the library, please have them collect a sign up form from Danni. This will also give them access to a range on online services, including audiobooks, newspapers and text books.

Throughout the day, different stories were shared across the school. Some pupils and staff got into the spirit of the day by dressing up as their favorite book characters, adding extra fun to the celebrations. In the hall, students took part in creative activities, including the ‘Match the Shelfie to the Selfie’ challenge, where they matched staff members to their bookshelves. Congratulations to Callan who was the first to match them all! They also made personalised bookmarks and shared their favorite times to read.
