Tower School Mathematicians

OIP.jpg

The Maths Department are pleased to welcome back all Mathematicians from their summer holidays. We have already made a great start to the new year, where pupils have been reviewing their targets and curriculum content, and planning their next steps to aid progression.

In addition, some pupils have been spending time making their own resources and sharing this great and purposeful experience with their friends. Jamie from Lighthouse created the amazing board game below, ‘Brokeopoly 2.0’.

It is also brilliant to see that the Tower School blackboard pillar is being used to display the pupils’ methodology. Showing workings out on paper can feel a bit daunting at times, but pupils have embraced this with the blackboard pillar and coloured chalk. Fantastic!
